Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will directly impact the quality of care and the overall patient experience.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily cleaning tasks such as mopping, dusting, and sanitizing patient rooms, hallways, and common areas.Dispose of medical waste and hazardous materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.Restock supplies in designated areas, ensuring that all cleaning materials are readily available.Conduct routine inspections of cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department.Collaborate with nursing staff to understand specific cleaning needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.Participate in the training of new cleaning staff, sharing best practices to maintain hospital standards.Log and document cleaning activities to adhere to hospital policies and regulations.Required and preferred qualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work, preferably in a healthcare setting.Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper usage.Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and protocols.Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.In our fast-paced and dynamic hospital environment, you will be part of a team that values diligence and dedication.
