Be a part of something meaningful—help make a difference every day.Position Overview: Our client is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RN), Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPN), and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join their Long-Term Care team in Victoria, BC. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults in a supportive, interdisciplinary care environment.Role and ResponsibilitiesFor RN / RPN: Deliver resident-centered care using critical thinking and sound clinical judgment Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement and evaluate individualized care plans Supervise, support, and coordinate care provided by LPNs and RCAs Promote quality of life and well-being for residents and their families Act as a clinical resource for peers and healthcare team members Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, committees, and research projectsFor LPN: Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and scope of practice Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor resident health status and report changes to RN/RPN Assist with development and updating of care plans Support residents with daily living activities and ensure comfort and safety Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality care Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to care standards and protocolsQualifications: RN/RPN: Current registration as RN or RPN LPN: Diploma in Practical Nursing Current registration as LPN All candidates must be registered with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives Completion of an approved gerontology course or equivalent education, training, and experience (preferred for all roles)Ideal Candidate Experience in managing residents with chronic illnesses and complex care needs Strong understanding of common medical conditions affecting older adults, including pathophysiology, polypharmacy, and treatment protocols Skilled in managing conditions such as dementia, delirium, depression, stroke, COPD, CHF, and diabetes Experience in end-of-life care and applying a palliative approach (EPAC) Proficient in use of clinical equipment (e.g., lifts, oxygen, suction, pumps) Ability to develop and implement resident-centered care plans and educate families Experience with advanced care needs (wound care, catheters, ostomies, oxygen therapy, ventilators) Knowledge of infection control, outbreak management, and isolation protocols Familiarity with frameworks such as PIECES, GPA, PRISME/CAMI, and Braden ScaleIf interested share your resume at
