As a full-time driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods, contributing significantly to our operational efficiency. This position offers a stable work environment with competitive compensation and opportunities for career growth.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate and drive company vehicles to transport goods to various locations.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.Efficiently plan routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel usage, and deliveries for compliance and record-keeping.Assist with loading and unloading cargo as required, ensuring items are handled with care.Communicate effectively with dispatch and colleagues to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues.Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and during the handling of goods.In addition to these core responsibilities, the Driver will be involved in various projects aimed at improving transportation efficiency and will interact closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations. Success in this role will be measured by the timely delivery of goods, adherence to safety protocols, and overall vehicle maintenance.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Proven experience as a driver with a clean driving record.Valid driver’s license with the necessary endorsements.Strong navigational skills and knowledge of local roadways.Ability to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Experience in a similar driving role is preferred.Our team environment is supportive and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.
