Representing a leader in the construction industry, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Assistant Project Manager to join their team in Ronkonkoma, New York. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in supporting their construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in the construction industry, working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative work environment.  Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the planning and execution of construction projects, monitoring progress and budget adherence.Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate project updates and resolve issues.Conduct site visits to evaluate project progress and compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, contracts, and change orders, ensuring all records are current and accurate.Support procurement processes by assisting in the preparation of project specifications and materials required for construction.Collaborate effectively with various team members, including architects, engineers, and site supervisors, to align project goals.Participate in project meetings to discuss timelines, challenges, and solutions to ensure project success.Required and Preferred QualificationsVocational training in construction project management is required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with stakeholders.Basic understanding of project management principles and construction techniques.Proficiency in relevant project management software and tools is required, i.e., Procore, etc.A minimum of 2 years of experience in a construction-related role is preferred. Strong comp & benefitsSalary commensurate with experience
