This role significantly contributes to the overall success of our operations, impacting both our company and the local community.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain mining equipment safely and effectively on a daily basis.Conduct regular inspections of equipment and the surrounding mining area to ensure safety protocols are adhered to.Assist in the extracting and processing of diamonds, following specified operational guidelines.Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay current with industry standards.Report any issues or concerns with equipment or safety conditions to management promptly.Maintain accurate records of work performed, including production reports and maintenance logs.Required and preferred qualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Prior experience in a mining or heavy labor environment is preferred.Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures.Ability to work well in a team and follow directions from supervisors.Familiarity with mining equipment and operations is a plus.Physical fitness to handle the demanding nature of the job.This position involves working closely with a diverse team of skilled professionals in a structured environment.
