About the Role: As our Senior Accountant, you aren't just balancing books; you are the financial backbone of our investment strategies. We are looking for a highly capable executor who can take full ownership of the accounting cycle and deliver flawless financial reporting. Because we are a 100% US-based firm, a deep understanding of US GAAP accounting practices and US tax regulations is absolutely critical. You will have the autonomy to tackle complex reconciliations, prepare books for US investors and the IRS, streamline processes, and drive financial insights. Requirements:• 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.• English Fluent, both written and verbal.• Types 35 words per minute.• High level of work ethic, professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.• Proficient in using computers, software, and other relevant tools.• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and processes.• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.• Meticulous attention to detail, and accuracy while multitasking.• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.• Stays current with industry trends and advancement.• Effective at time-management and organizational skills.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Charismatic and influential leadership abilities. Key Responsibilities:• Execute the full accounting cycle, ensuring all financial records strictly adhere to US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).• Prepare, review, and finalize accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for US leadership and external investors.• Ensure company books are fully prepped, compliant, and ready for US tax filings and potential IRS reviews.• Manage complex bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring zero discrepancies.• Process accounts payable and receivable, maintaining flawless vendor and client ledgers.• Collaborate with external US tax advisors and CPAs to facilitate annual audits and tax preparations.• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization within the portfolio.• Identify and implement process improvements to accelerate the month-end close without sacrificing accuracy.• Maintain highly organized, detailed documentation of all financial transactions, methodologies, and compliance measures.
