We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Providence, Rhode Island. As an RN, you will have a vital role in impacting patient health outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of care provided within our facility.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate health status and determine care needs.Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) therapy as per established protocols.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.Utilize critical thinking skills to develop individualized care plans and modify them based on patients' changing needs.Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.Document patient care activities and communicate pertinent information to ensure continuity of care.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.Required and preferred qualificationsActive Rhode Island RN License.Strong skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and effective communication.Proficient in critical thinking and decision-making.Compassionate approach to patient care.Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing.CPR and BLS certifications are required; additional certifications related to specialty areas are a plus.This position operates within a supportive team structure with fellow nurses, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
