New York City Health is seeking a Senior Epic Beacon Certified Analyst with prior Epic implementation experience to support a 6+ month contract engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with clinical stakeholders, analyzing and documenting requirements, leading validation sessions, and supporting Epic Beacon Oncology workflows. This is a unique opportunity to work within a prominent healthcare organization in New York City, combining both remote and onsite work to enhance the delivery of clinical solutions. Key Responsibilities Analyze and document business and clinical requirements and workflows. Interview end users, stakeholders, and project sponsors to assess clinical needs. Translate gathered information into functional and technical requirements, including data sources, user types, interfaces, and reporting needs. Define external interfaces, constraints, quality standards, and non-functional requirements. Identify risks, gaps, and ambiguities; collaborate on solutions. Partner with project managers to ensure requirements align with project schedules. Lead meetings, workshops, and validation sessions; manage follow-up actions. Ensure development teams meet defined requirements and quality standards. Manage change control documentation and requirement updates. Develop test plans, release notes, training guides, and user documentation. Support unit acceptance testing (UAT) and system deployments. Provide application and end-user support, including issue resolution. Develop and deliver project presentations. Mentor junior clinical business analysts and review work products. Identify and implement process improvement opportunities. Participate in special projects as required. Work beyond standard hours when necessary to meet project needs. Required and preferred qualifications Epic Beacon Certification (current or within prior Epic release) Prior Epic implementation experience Strong background in Oncology workflows Experience gathering and analyzing requirements from clinical end users Proven experience creating Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), workflow diagrams, and flowcharts Experience leading validation sessions and Epic system build End-user support experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred: Epic Cellular Therapy and Pediatric Oncology implementation experience Clinical background in Nursing or Provider workflows Experience with at least two full Epic life-cycle implementations Experience mentoring junior analysts This position operates within a collaborative team structure that fosters support and the sharing of ideas.
