Finance AnalystLocation: Beaverton, OR12 months Contract Need locals or nearby location candidates This position is onsite WHQ for the hybrid work scheduleDegree will be required for this role; minimum Bachelor’s, something in the business/finance field3-5 years’ experience required in a financial analyst role Top must-have skills include the following: Excel expertise (highly familiar with the tool; candidate should be able to understand pivot tables, v lookups, etc.)Specific experience with financial modelling, scenario planning, and financial analysisFamiliarity with PowerPoint/deck buildingDesired soft skillsEffective communication skills; candidate should be able to translate “finance speak” into digestible information for other team members/cross functional stakeholdersComfortable working in ambiguityWillingness to engageSelf starter Details that would make a candidate stand out:Experience at a relatively large companyExperience with consumer productsA sense of curiosityThe main focus of this role will be to support two different paternity leaves: one will focus on the core footwear portfolio (footwear generally under $100, big portfolio, high revenue, high visibility); the other will focus on supporting the running portfolio (high visibility, high impact)This team engages heavily with non-finance stakeholders. The ETW will work cross functionally with a lot of different teams, including footwear developers, and will work on a direct team with about 10 others Requirements for the role includeBachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business or a closely related field. MBA a plus.Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and to run financial models.Proven experience in effectively supporting and working with senior leadership.3-5 years' experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting and/or budgeting preferred. First and foremost, you will be the main finance partner for the Product Creation teams and have a seat at the table with leadership for a segment of the business. You will partner with our Product Teams to translate strategic margin targets into seasonal margin plans while ensuring alignment with leadership. You will proactively identify the financial implications of product decisions and articulate solutions that meet the needs of business partners.You will work across the broader Margin Planning team to help drive projects that improve overall margins.You will track margin attainment each season and work with the product teams on scenario plans to improve margin. You will provide ad hoc margin analysis to the team and be a strategic business partner to influence price, cost and demand
