As a Senior Electrical RF Test Engineer, you will join a dynamic engineering team in the technology sector, dedicated to developing and optimizing cutting-edge communications products. At our Rochester, New York facility, you will work in a collaborative and modern work environment, where your expertise will directly impact product performance and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and conduct RF testing procedures to evaluate product performance across various communication standards.Utilize NI LabVIEW and TestStand to develop automated test systems that support RF testing.Analyze data from tests using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and power meters to ensure compliance with specifications.Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to troubleshoot issues and enhance product designs.Document and present test results clearly to stakeholders, providing insights for product improvements.Oversee the integration of TCP/IP networking protocols into testing frameworks.Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on the utilization of software management tools and object-oriented programming.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.5+ years of experience in RF testing and development.Proficiency in NI LabVIEW and TestStand for automated testing processes.Experience with RF communication systems, including insights into testing methodologies and best practices.Understanding of TCP/IP networking and its application in test setups.Familiarity with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, and audio analyzers.Strong analytical skills and experience in object-oriented programming is a plus.Our company values a collaborative culture where innovation thrives.
