This role will have a significant impact on the students' personal and artistic growth, while also promoting teamwork and collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive drama curriculum tailored to the needs and interests of primary school students.Facilitate engaging and interactive lessons that encourage creativity, confidence, and self-expression among students.Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their performance and develop their skills in acting and theatre production.Organize and oversee school productions, including auditions, rehearsals, and performances, to showcase students' talents.Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate drama and theatre into other subjects and school activities.Actively engage with parents and the community to promote the school's drama initiatives and events.In this role, you will also engage in various projects, such as planning school-wide events and participating in staff meetings to share insights and strategies for student engagement. You will regularly interact with members of the teaching team, school administration, and the wider school community to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students. Success in this position will be measured by student engagement, performance improvement, and the execution of successful school productions.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Theatre (not required), Education, or a related field is required.Native speaker or Non-native Europeans Demonstrated skills in theatre, teaching, and communication, with a strong emphasis on classroom management and engagement strategies.Experience in collaboration and adaptability in a diverse classroom setting.Preferred qualifications include prior teaching experience, particularly in a primary education environment.Relevant certifications in drama education or teaching would be advantageous.Proficiency in using educational software and tools that enhance learning in the arts.A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children, preferably in a theatre or drama-related context.Our school boasts a collaborative team-oriented structure, where teachers work together to create an enriching educational environment.
