We are seeking a reliable and skilled building maintenance person to join our team in Makati City, part of the vibrant National Capital Region of the Philippines. This full-time position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities, directly impacting the safety and comfort of our employees and visitors. As a member of our maintenance team, you will help maintain our building infrastructure, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management, resolving issues in a timely manner.Conduct repairs and maintenance work as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed, documenting completed work and parts used.Coordinate and liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance projects.Assist in the creation and implementation of a preventative maintenance schedule to extend the life of building systems.Participate in team meetings and collaborative projects, contributing ideas for improving maintenance operations and safety compliance.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent; further technical education is a plus.Proven experience in building maintenance or a similar role with at least 2 years in facilities upkeep.Strong knowledge and hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.Certifications in relevant fields (e.g., HVAC certification, electrical certification) are preferred.Exceptional problem-solving skills and time management abilities, allowing you to prioritize tasks effectively.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.This role reports to the Facilities Manager, working closely with other maintenance staff and cross-functional teams, including operations and administrative departments.
