We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Accounting and Reception Clerk 3 to join our dynamic team in Truro, Nova Scotia. This full-time position plays a crucial role in our organization, combining accounting responsibilities with reception duties to ensure efficient office operations. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on our financial management and customer service, contributing to the smooth functioning of our diverse workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, data entry, and financial reconciliation.Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and managing communications.Maintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions, adhering to company policies and compliance standards.Oversee inventory management tasks, including tracking supplies and placing orders as necessary.Prepare and process various financial documents, ensuring timely completion of reports and statements.Assist in office operations, including scheduling meetings, coordinating phone systems, and managing the reception area.Utilize SAP and other software tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency across tasks.Required and preferred qualificationsGrade XI education coupled with four years of relevant experience in accounting or a similar field.Strong supervisory skills and experience overseeing office operations.Proficiency in SAP and other accounting software or tools.Demonstrated ability in record keeping, document preparation, and inventory management.Excellent time management, decision-making, and communication skills.Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment is preferred.This position is part of a collaborative team structure, where the Accounting and Reception Clerk will report directly to the Office Manager.
