We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team in San Francisco, California. Our fast-paced work environment thrives on innovation and collaboration, where your contributions will directly impact our customer's experience and satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.Identify, document, and track defects in the software to maintain high-quality standards.Work closely with software developers to resolve issues and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.Conduct regression testing and provide feedback on functional and non-functional requirements.Participate in code reviews and contribute to process improvement initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product features and design effective testing strategies.Report on testing progress and results, providing insights for continuous improvement.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.5-6 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.Experience with scripting languages and automated testing frameworks.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred certifications: ISTQB or equivalent.Proficiency with relevant software and tools for testing.Quality Assurance & Testing: Creation of standard test cases based on user stories. Manual functional testing of the MVP features. Cross-browser/device testing (Latest versions of Chrome, Safari; iOS/Android standard view). Bug reporting and regression testing prior to UAT (User Acceptance Testing). Experience Healthcare, HIPAA, SOC 2As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work within a supportive and collaborative team structure, reporting directly to the QA Manager.
