This role involves collaborating with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment, where your contributions will have a substantial impact on how our organization leverages data for decision-making and strategic growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes to ingest and process data from various sources.Build and optimize data pipelines using tools such as Airflow, ensuring reliability and performance.Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.Implement and enhance data architecture for data warehousing solutions, focusing on data quality and integrity.Monitor data flow and troubleshoot issues to ensure consistent and seamless data availability for stakeholders.Document technical specifications and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing among team members.Stay current with industry trends and advancements, recommending new tools and technologies as appropriate.Required and preferred qualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.Expertise in AWS cloud services including S3, Redshift, and Glue.Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.Familiarity with financial services data processing and regulations.Strong experience with creating and managing data pipelines using Apache Airflow.This role will be part of a collaborative team structure where you will report directly to the Data Engineering Manager.
