We are seeking a dedicated and professional NCR-Registered Debt Counsellor to join our dynamic team in Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa. This full-time position offers a collaborative work environment where you can make a significant impact by assisting clients in navigating their debt situations and achieving financial stability.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive financial assessments of clients' financial situations to develop tailored debt management solutions.Provide guidance and ongoing support to clients throughout the debt counselling process, ensuring they understand their options and responsibilities.Facilitate communication between clients and creditors to negotiate repayment plans and settlements.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case documentation and client records in compliance with industry standards.Educate clients on financial literacy, budgeting, and debt management strategies to empower them in their financial decisions.Stay informed about changes in legislation and regulations that affect debt counselling practices.Collaborate with team members and external agencies to enhance service offerings and client support systems.Required and Preferred QualificationsNCR Registered Debt Counsellor certification is mandatory.Strong understanding of debt counselling processes and financial regulations in South Africa.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.Proficiency in financial software tools and case management systems.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a debt counselling or related financial advisory role is preferred.As part of our team, you will experience numerous growth opportunities, including potential career advancement within the company and ongoing training programs.
