In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of transportation services within our operations. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of our logistics and providing exemplary service to our clients while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate company vehicles safely and responsibly, ensuring passenger and cargo safety at all times.Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in good working order and compliant with all regulations.Plan routes and manage schedules to guarantee timely deliveries while considering traffic patterns and road conditions.Assist in loading and unloading of freight and ensure secure transport of goods.Maintain accurate records of daily activities, mileage, and fuel consumption.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to provide status updates and resolve issues.Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations concerning driving and safety.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Valid C1 PRDP (Professional Driving Permit) for the transportation of goods.Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in logistics or transportation industries.Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.Excellent driving record and a commitment to maintaining a safe driving attitude.Ability to lift heavy loads and manage physical demands of the role.Good communication skills and ability to interact positively with team members and clients.As a professional driver here, you will have the opportunity to grow within our organization, taking on additional responsibilities and possibly advancing into supervisory roles in the logistics field.
