We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic team in Burlington, VT. With state-of-the-art technology and a collaborative work environment, this role plays a crucial part in providing accurate diagnostic imaging services that positively impact patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform nuclear medicine procedures, including preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a physician.Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure quality control and optimal patient safety.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient data and imaging results.Document patient interactions and imaging results accurately and in a timely manner to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.Monitor patient reactions to administered radiopharmaceuticals and manage any adverse effects that may arise.Participate in on-going quality assurance programs AND staff training sessions to maintain standards of care.Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine technology and contribute to departmental improvement initiatives.Required and Preferred QualificationsAssociate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited institution.Valid Nuclear Medicine Technology certification from a recognized professional body (e.g., ARRT, NMTCB).Proficiency in nuclear medicine software and imaging tools.Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting is preferred.Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient care standards.In our facility, you will be part of a collaborative team structure that emphasizes patient-first care.
