We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst/ Laboratory Analyst to join our dynamic team in Winchester, Kentucky. This essential contract role is pivotal in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative laboratory environment, contributing to critical testing processes and upholding stringent quality guidelines, ultimately impacting our organization’s reputation and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct analytical testing to ensure product compliance with industry standards.Perform efficient/reliable/high quality analytical testing in accordance with USP/NF/EP/JP/FCC/etc. or customer supplied guidelines. Typical testing may include Dissolution, Titration, Polarimetry, Loss on Drying, Viscosity, Residue on Ignition, Heavy Metal Content, FTIR, HPLC, and GC, etc.Maintain thorough records of test results and laboratory processes to ensure traceability and accuracy.Perform regular inspections of laboratory equipment to maintain safety and operational efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions.Participate in the development and refinement of quality control protocols and best practices.Assist in training new personnel on laboratory safety practices and testing procedures.Monitor and report on quality metrics, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Life Sciences.Proven experience in analytical testing and lab safety protocols.Strong problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.Familiarity with laboratory software tools and data management systems.Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.Relevant certifications in Quality Control or related fields are preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory environment is desired.This Quality Control Analyst position offers opportunities for professional growth within a supportive company culture that values innovation and excellence.
