We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PGVCL Smart Meter Fitting Technician to join our team in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. Key Responsibilities Install and configure smart meters at various customer locations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Conduct regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance of installed meters. Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules and prioritize workload effectively. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during installations. Document all installations and maintenance activities in compliance with company protocols and reporting requirements. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and improvements in smart metering systems. Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights and feedback to improve operational efficiency. Required and Preferred Qualifications Minimum education requirement of 10th pass. Proven skills in electrical systems, installation procedures, and maintenance practices. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Industry-standard certifications related to electrical engineering or smart metering preferred. Familiarity with relevant software and installation tools is a plus. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a related field is preferred. The Technical Environment of this role includes a collaborative team structure where you will report directly to the Lead Technician. You will work closely with project managers and other technicians, participating in various project phases that involve cross-functional collaboration with other departments such as customer service and technical support.
