We are looking for a dedicated Office Cleaner to join our team at Pep Store in Soweto, Gauteng. This is a permanent position within a dynamic retail environment where cleanliness and orderliness are crucial to enhancing customer experience and employee productivity. As an Office Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a hygienic and welcoming atmosphere for both staff and customers.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all areas of the store.Ensure restrooms and break rooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.Dispose of waste and ensure proper sanitation practices in the handling of waste materials.Conduct routine inspections of cleaning tasks to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.Report any maintenance issues or necessary repairs to ensure the workplace remains safe and operational.Interact with store management to prioritize cleaning duties and address any specific requests.Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the management when reordering is necessary.Required and Preferred QualificationsMatric Certificate or equivalent qualification.Proven experience in a cleaning role, preferably in a retail or commercial environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Familiarity with cleaning products and procedures is an advantage.Our team is structured to support a collaborative work environment, where team members can share responsibilities and help each other maintain store standards.
