We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In this full-time position, your contributions will directly impact patient satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our healthcare operations.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and check them in for appointments, confirming their personal and insurance information.Answer phone calls in a professional manner, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments effectively.Manage patient scheduling and assist with appointment reminders to enhance patient attendance.Provide administrative support, including handling patient files, insurance claims, and medical records management.Assist with billing processes and payment collection to ensure accuracy and compliance.Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and address any immediate concerns.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and office supplies.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma is required.Proven skills in communication, customer service, and multitasking.Prior experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.Proficient in using office software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Basic understanding of health insurance processes and billing is advantageous.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist role is preferred.This position offers growth opportunities within our healthcare facility, allowing you to expand your skills and advance in your career.
