We are seeking a dedicated Nightshift Bus Cleaner to join our team at Putco in Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa. This full-time position plays a crucial role in maintaining our fleet's cleanliness and safety, ensuring that our buses are in optimal condition for our passengers. As a Nightshift Bus Cleaner, you will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize the interior and exterior of buses, using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.Remove trash, debris, and other contaminants from buses after each shift.Inspect buses for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor.Perform deep cleaning tasks such as shampooing carpets and upholstery when required.Organize cleaning supplies and adhere to safety protocols while handling chemical agents.Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure buses are ready for operation.Maintain records of cleaning activities and report on the state of cleanliness as needed.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role preferred.Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus.Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule.Physical stamina to handle manual tasks and lift equipment as needed.In this role, you will work within a structured team environment, ensuring seamless operations during night shifts.
