We are seeking a compassionate and professional Staff Nurse who will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals undergoing treatment for addiction. This full-time position offers a dynamic and supportive work environment where you will make a significant impact on the lives of our patients and their families.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver nursing care to patients receiving treatment for addiction, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.Conduct initial assessments to evaluate patients' medical histories, needs, and treatment goals.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patient responses and reporting any concerns.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.Provide education and support to patients and their families about addiction, recovery processes, and coping strategies.Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve care practices and enhance professional development.Required and Preferred QualificationsDiploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.Compassion and empathy in patient interactions.Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in addiction or mental health services.Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is a plus.Registered Nurse (RN) certification is preferred but not mandatory.This role is supported by a collaborative team-oriented approach, where nurses work alongside psychologists, social workers, and medical doctors.
