Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Acromiothoracic Surgeon to join our esteemed healthcare facility located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnalyzing patient histories and conducting consultations and tests before surgeries.Treating heart, lung, esophageal, and blood vessel conditions.Performing surgeries, including transplants and tumor removals.Collaborating with other physicians and specialists.Explaining the risks associated with surgery to patients.Addressing patient concerns and answering questions.Staying up-to-date with advancements in thoracic surgery and medicine.Scheduling follow-up appointments to monitor patients' progress.Building rapport with patients and providing support to their families.Maintaining thorough records of patients and procedures.Requirements and QualificationsDoctorate in medicine with a specialization in thoracic surgery.Valid license and certification.Completed residency and several years of experience.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Published research and evidence of academic work is a plus.Attention to detail.Willingness to assist other physicians.Ability to work independently and in a team.A growth mindset and commitment to continuing education.We offer excellent growth opportunities, allowing you to advance your career in a forward-thinking environment.
