We are seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team in Newton, Massachusetts. In this full-time role, you will drive our social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, engage our audience, and elevate our online presence. As part of a dynamic marketing department within a mid-sized organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our brand communicates across multiple platforms, contributing to overall growth and engagement. Your impact is significant, as you will have the opportunity to connect with our community and advocate for our values through compelling content.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a cohesive social media strategy that aligns with our marketing objectives and enhances brand engagement.Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms.Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics to optimize social media campaigns and inform strategy adjustments.Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and authentic manner.Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate social media campaigns with other marketing and promotional initiatives.Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor strategies to ensure our social media presence remains competitive and relevant.Organize and execute social media contests and campaigns to enhance visibility and community interaction.Required and preferred qualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Proven experience in content creation and social media management (2-4 years preferred).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to measure effectiveness and engagement.Creative thinking and problem-solving skills; able to bring fresh ideas to the table.Our company culture is collaborative and inclusive, encouraging innovative ideas and professional growth.
