Artistic / Creative Director New Jersey $50,000 - $65,000 DOE Nelson Line is an established gift and stationery company. We are looking for an artistic / creative director: With an eye for art and a head for business. Someone who can bring fresh ideas to the table, and see them through to fruition. A team leader with excellent organizational and project management skills who can oversee multiple projects at once, manage production schedules/time lines, keep colleagues on point and projects on time. Experience necessary; preferably in the Stationery, Gift, Design or Publishing Industries. Responsibilities include: Fostering creative ideas for new product and design Sourcing art & illustration Licensing Running weekly meetings, assigning and reviewing tasks Overseeing production projects, costing, budget, content, web design & publicity & sales materials Managing the art & production team Corresponding & occasionally meeting with important customers to both present our collection and discuss new projects Experience desired in: Managing production projects. The Gift/Publishing/Design sector Domestic &/or overseas manufacturing Software: Must be comfortable using Proficiency in Word and Excel and other similar software Solid knowledge of Adobe Suite (primarily Photoshop & In Design) Hours: This is a full time position on site Salary Range: $50,000 - $65k per year (DOE) Benefits: Healthcare & Dental plans are available.
