Role OverviewThe Project Manager will oversee all phases of assigned glazing projects—from preconstruction and planning, through installation and close-out—ensuring budget, schedule, quality and safety goals are met. The role requires coordination with internal teams (estimating, engineering, fabrication, installation) as well as external stakeholders (architects, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors).Key ResponsibilitiesLead project planning: define scope, schedule, budget, risk mitigation and resource needs.Coordinate with estimating and engineering teams to confirm project requirements, shop drawings, submittals and fabrication schedules.Serve as primary client interface: respond to RFI’s, manage change orders, provide status reports and maintain client satisfaction.Monitor project progress on site: conduct site visits, review installation quality, ensure compliance with contract documents and manufacturer/system specifications.Manage subcontractors and trades: issue work orders, monitor productivity/safety, ensure alignment with schedule milestones and quality standards.Ensure cost control: track project budgets, review cost variances, approve invoices and implement corrective actions when needed.Address technical issues and system integration challenges related to glazing, curtain wall, storefront or impact systems.Lead close-out activities: coordinate commissioning, punch list resolution, project documentation, as-built drawings, certifications and warranty hand-over.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction or glazing, curtain-wall, storefront or façade systems preferred.Strong knowledge of architectural glazing, curtain wall systems, window wall systems, storefronts—especially in high-performance or impact-resistant applications (which is a specialization of Crawford-Tracey).Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar projects, adherence to schedule, budget and quality constraints.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with contractors, architects, engineers and owners.Proficient with project management tools, scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.Strong problem-solving ability, risk mitigation mindset and decision-making skills.Valid driver’s license, ability to travel to job-site locations in South Florida region as required.Preferred QualificationsExperience managing glazing or façade systems in hurricane-prone regions (Florida) with high-wind/flood conditions.Familiarity with impact-rated systems, unitized curtain wall and flood barrier systems (a niche of Crawford-Tracey).Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager).Spanish or other bilingual proficiency helpful but not required.Key SkillsExperience managing glazing or façade systems in hurricane-prone regions (Florida) with high-wind/flood conditions.
