We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Truck Driver with Code 10 & 14 licenses to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The impact of your responsibilities will directly contribute to the operational success of our logistics services.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate trucks effectively, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy.Safely load, secure, and transport goods to designated locations as per the schedule.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any potential issues.Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes.Adhere to company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and compliance standards.Required and Preferred QualificationsGrade 12 / Matric qualification.Valid Code 10 & 14 driver's licenses.Proven experience in long-distance truck driving, preferably 2+ years.Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best driving practices.Excellent driving record and no history of accidents or traffic violations.Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools is preferred.In this role, you will be part of a cohesive team of drivers and logistics personnel, reporting to the logistics manager.
