We are seeking a dedicated Mail/Package Handler to join our team in Parma, Ohio. This contract position is integral to our operations, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing mail and packages are sorted, organized, and delivered in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes efficiency and accuracy, helping to support our business operations and ensuring smooth logistical processes.Key ResponsibilitiesSort and organize mail and packages for distribution to the appropriate destinations.Prepare outgoing packages by labeling, weighing, and applying necessary postage.Maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accurate tracking.Ensure the workspace remains organized and safe, adhering to all safety protocols.Collaborate closely with the warehouse team to manage inventory levels of shipping supplies.Provide excellent service by attending to any inquiries regarding mail and package deliveries.Assist in the training of new staff members on mail/package handling procedures.Required and preferred qualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.Familiarity with shipping and receiving software is advantageous.Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.As a Mail/Package Handler, you will have opportunities for growth within the logistics field.
