We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team on a contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. As a key player in our cloud engineering efforts, you will contribute to building and maintaining scalable and efficient cloud solutions that support our ever-expanding operations. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to impact the company's technological growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and deploy scalable applications using TypeScript and microservices architecture.Design and implement efficient ETL pipelines to manage data processing and integration.Configure and manage cloud resources using AWS and Terraform to ensure optimal performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment processes.Visualize data using D3.JS for effective reporting and decision-making.Maintain and improve cloud architecture, ensuring systems are secure and reliable.Provide technical support to stakeholders and document processes and procedures.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with AWS.Hands-on experience with ETL pipelines and microservices.Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code.Experience with CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.Knowledge of cloud architecture principles and practices.Understanding of data visualization using D3.JS is preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in full stack development in cloud environments.The engineering team is composed of talented individuals collaborating on projects that make a notable impact on our operations.
