We are seeking a dedicated Lab Support Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This contract position is ideally suited for individuals with a technical support background, particularly in laboratory environments. As a vital member of our team, you will contribute significantly to maintaining the efficiency of our lab operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to laboratory personnel, ensuring uninterrupted operation of lab equipment and software.Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GxP) in all lab activities.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime in laboratory processes.Assist in the implementation and maintenance of laboratory information management systems (LIMS).Document and maintain records of laboratory activities, including incident reports and equipment maintenance logs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and improve lab workflows and protocols.Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes affecting laboratory operations.Required and Preferred QualificationsEquivalent experience in a technical support role, with a focus on laboratory environments.Knowledge of GMP and GxP regulations.Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and LIMS software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Relevant technical certifications are a plus.Our team operates in a collaborative structure, allowing for shared expertise and innovation.
