We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team in Farmington Hills, Michigan. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our supply chain efficiencies and strategic sourcing initiatives. Your expertise will directly impact our operations by ensuring cost-effective procurement processes and fostering productive vendor relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and objectives.Conduct detailed supplier evaluations and lead negotiations to secure favorable contract terms.Utilize analytical skills to assess market trends and supply chain dynamics to mitigate risks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Manage vendor performance through regular reviews, feedback, and improvement plans to optimize procurement outcomes.Oversee the lifecycle management of contracts to ensure compliance and monitor performance metrics.Facilitate training sessions on procurement best practices for internal stakeholders to enhance team capabilities.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.Proficient in procurement processes and contract management.Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record.Excellent analytical and communication skills.Experience with vendor management and lifecycle management.Certifications such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are a plus.Our team consists of dedicated professionals who work collaboratively to accomplish shared objectives.
