In this role, you will help solve complex engineering problems and drive projects that improve public safety and aesthetics.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to create detailed project drawings and specifications.Conduct site assessments and environmental impact studies to inform project decisions.Coordinate with team members, clients, and contractors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.Prepare and present project reports and proposals to stakeholders.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in all engineering designs.Mentor and assist junior engineers and interns in their professional development.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.Experience with AutoCAD software for engineering design.Prior work experience in civil engineering (0-5 years for entry-level to mid-level positions).Additional certifications such as EIT (Engineer in Training) or PE (Professional Engineer) preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
