We are seeking a skilled Boiler and Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Rochester, New York. As a key player in our organization, you will work in a dynamic environment focused on maintaining and optimizing our refrigeration and HVAC systems. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the efficiency of our heating and cooling operations, contributing to the overall success of our facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repair of boiler systems, refrigeration units, and HVAC equipment.Inspect and troubleshoot compressed air systems and steam generation equipment for optimal performance.Document all repairs, maintenance activities, and system performance records accurately.Collaborate with the engineering team to assess system capabilities and propose improvements.Respond promptly to service calls and emergency situations, ensuring minimal downtime.Maintain safety and compliance standards during all maintenance and repair tasks.Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices on best practices and safety protocols.Required and preferred qualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required.Proven experience in refrigeration, HVAC, and boiler maintenance.Strong knowledge of compressed air systems and steam generation.Industry-standard certifications (e.g., EPA Section 608 Certification).Proficiency in using common tools and diagnostic equipment specific to the trade.Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience preferred.As a Boiler and Refrigeration Technician, you will benefit from numerous growth opportunities within our company, including potential advancement to supervisory roles.
