We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team in McMinnville, Oregon. As a crucial part of our healthcare facility, you will provide essential support to our medical staff in delivering high-quality patient care. This part-time position offers a dynamic work environment where you can make a meaningful impact on patients' lives by assisting in their healthcare journeys.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with patient intake, including recording medical histories and vital signs.Prepare patients for examinations by the physician and explain procedures to ensure comfort.Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed by the healthcare provider.Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurate and confidential.Coordinate patient appointments and manage front office responsibilities, including answering phones and interacting with patients.Support the medical staff during procedures by ensuring proper instruments and supplies are available.Monitor and manage electronic health records to ensure that all documentation is timely and compliant.This role will involve participation in various projects aimed at improving overall patient care and operational efficiency. You will interact closely with other medical professionals—including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff—to create a cohesive care delivery team. Success in this position will be measured by patient satisfaction, accuracy in record-keeping, and the smooth functioning of clinical operations.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.Strong skills in patient care and customer service.Proficiency in using computer systems and health record software.A minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical setting is preferred.Our team thrives in a collaborative environment that encourages ongoing professional development and growth.
