We are seeking an experienced Ignition Specialist as an Independent Contractor based in Bernalillo, New Mexico. As an Ignition Specialist, you will directly impact the success of our operations and the safety of our clients' vehicles.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair ignition issues based on client requests and vehicle specifications.Provide locksmithing services that include creating new keys, extracting broken keys, and reprogramming transponder keys.Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions.Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.Stay updated on the latest automotive locksmithing technologies and techniques.Document all services performed and maintain accurate records for billing and quality assurance.Assist in any additional tasks as required, including training new contractors in locksmithing processes.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Proven experience in locksmithing, particularly with vehicle ignitions.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently as an independent contractor.Familiarity with various locksmithing tools and software.Relevant certifications in locksmithing or specialized training preferred.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in automotive locksmithing is preferred.This independent contractor role offers flexible hours, allowing you to manage your schedule effectively.
