Pay: $18.00 per hourJob description:**Schedule:** Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM**Starting Pay:** $18/hour (with pay increase after 90-day probation period based on performance and experience)Position Overview:We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) specifically for our manufacturing company, who will also serve as a helpful Assistant for our new cosmetic R&D lab. This role requires strong communication skills, some knowledge of beauty and personal care products, and the ability to effectively manage client inquiries and orders. The ideal candidate will need to be proactive, solution-driven, and enthusiastic about the beauty & personal care industry.Key Responsibilities:● Respond promptly to customer inquiries about product formulations and manufacturing processes● Process sales orders, purchase orders, and manage client accounts accurately and efficiently● Resolve client issues professionally, offering solutions and ensuring complete satisfaction● Provide detailed service and capabilities information, including product categories, price estimates and compliance details● Assist customers with troubleshooting and escalate issues when necessary, ensuring timely resolution● Coordinate with production, R&D, and shipping departments to facilitate timely order processing and delivery● Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in spreadsheets and databases● Stay updated with industry trends, product offerings, and company procedures to provide expert-level customer support● Support the lab department as needed for labeling r&d samples, organization of raw materials, lab batch record keeping, and purchasing requestsRequired Skills & Qualifications:● Previous experience in customer service or client relations within the skincare, cosmetics, or personal care industry preferred● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and managing spreadsheets for sales orders and client information● Exceptional phone communication and active listening skills● Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities● Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills● Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment● Basic computer proficiency and adaptability to learning new software systems● Familiarity with skincare and cosmetic ingredients, formulations, or manufacturing processes is a plus● Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly desirable● Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred, training available if neededAdditional Notes:● Candidates with customer service experience exclusively in retail or logistics will not be considered● Comprehensive training on company products, systems, and procedures provided● This is an on-site, full-time role based at our manufacturing facility>Job Type: ContractExperience: SAP or similar ERP System: 3 years (Required)skincare and cosmetics formulation and manufacturing: 3 years (Required) Language: English (Required)Spanish (Required) Ability to Commute: San Bernardino, CA (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: San Bernardino, CA: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
