We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in South Hadley, Massachusetts. This office-based position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals while working in a collaborative and respectful atmosphere.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding to ensure comfort and hygiene.Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to registered nurses or physicians promptly.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation regarding care provided and changes in health status.Support mobility for patients by assisting with repositioning, transfers, and ambulation as needed.Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive and supportive environment.Help prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences of individual patients.Engage in team meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing compliance with healthcare standards and policies.Required and preferred qualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a state-approved CNA program.Active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Massachusetts.Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.Proficient in basic computer skills, including experience with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving.Ability to lift and transfer patients, as well as to stand for long periods.In our organization, you will be part of a collaborative team structure comprising nurses, healthcare aides, and administrative staff, all working together to provide outstanding care to our patients.Reporting relationships are structured to ensure effective communication; you will report directly to the Registered Nurse on duty and have the opportunity to collaborate with various healthcare professionals.Cross-functional collaboration is encouraged within our workplace, allowing for knowledge sharing and holistic patient care approaches, enhancing the overall quality of service delivery.As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will find numerous opportunities for growth within our organization.
